China, Romania sign tax treaty

The Chinese government has announced that China and Romania have signed a tax treaty in an effort to promote investment between the countries.

According to the Chinese government, the agreement, signed July 4, significantly reduces tax rates on dividends, interest, and royalties, and adds stipulations on tax exemptions.

The agreement is not yet in force.
